Never taking no for an answer, Maria has proven herself to be an outstanding salesperson since childhood, when she started her own cookie business in school. This Colombia native later pursued a culinary career when she moved to Miami at age 17. She earned an Associate’s in Dietetics from Miami Dade College, a Culinary Arts degree from Johnson & Wales University, and a B.A. in Restaurant Management at Florida International University.
Maria came to NYC 15 years ago for a two-week stay, fell in love and got her real estate license.She has since broken onsite sales records,directing sales at the William Beaver House Condominium and at Cipriani .
Residences on Wall Street, and worked extensively with buyer investors at new developments. One of the most sought- after downtown agents, Maria enjoys a distinguished reputation for sales in the Financial district where she lives as well as other neighborhoods. She has also marketed and sold buildings to international clients, and sold substantially on the Upper West Side, which led to her feature in the real estate book,“Local Einsteins:What to Know Before Buying Or Selling A Home.”
Fluent in Spanish and English, Maria serves a local and international client base. She has traveled extensively doing seminars and networking throughout South America to bring Manhattan real estate to the world. As a certified sommelier and self-proclaimed foodie, cooking, entertaining, and exploring new restaurants are her joys outside of work.
